for those interested, attached is a spreadsheet that has a few handy formulas for the upcoming soccer season
Rows 1-6 figure out if there is a scalp on a particular game and determine the amount to RISK on each of the three lines to give you an equal outcome under all scenarios
Rows 1-6 figure out if there is a scalp on a particular game and determine the amount to RISK on each of the three lines to give you an equal outcome under all scenarios
- input the lines in the 3 green cells.
- If the blue cell is less than $100, you have a scalp
- Input the maximum amount you want to RISK on the most expensive play in the yellow cell
- RISK the amounts in the purple cells
- your net win is in the tan cell
- input the lines in the 3 green cells. If the team you want to play is negative (i.e, -120), make them Line A, if the team you want to play is positive (i.e., +120), make them Line B.
- input the total amount you want to RISK in the yellow cell
- If the team you want to play is negative (i.e., -120), RISK the amounts in the purple cells
- If the team you want to play is positive (i.e., +120), RISK the amounts in the blue cells
- Your net win is in tan under the appropriate blue or purple play
- Insert the money line in the green cell
- insert the -1.5 line in the yellow cell
- If you want to WIN in a fixed amount, insert that amount in the blue cell and RISK the amounts noted in the purple cells.
